Before the Siege: the British Army in Yorktown Before the Siege: the British Army in Yorktown is our main Back East travel event for 2020. BTS is a commemoration of the time that the British and Crown forces were in Yorktown, preparing its defenses before the Continentals and French arrived. We have access to some historic and re-created buildings, and the chance to engage in interpretation and camp life over several blocks of Yorktown's historic Main Street. This is an unparalleled opportunity to walk in the footsteps of one of the 33rd Regiment's most significant actions. Please let us know if you plan to go! We have booked rooms to stay in, but need to adjust the number depending on the total traveling. Before the Siege: the British Army in Yorktown web site.
