Old Fort MacArthur Days

Old Fort MacArthur Days was a time-line event situated on the grounds of Fort MacArthur in San Pedro. It was a beautiful weekend.

Big Horn Mountain Men Rendezvous 27 August - 2 September.

This is a fun venue, and a great chance for us to mingle with other black powder shooters in the Southern California area. We shoot ball ammunition! The modest entry/camping fee permits us to join in the shooting competition. It's a great chance for us to put our period living skills into action! We plan be there for the last weekend; 30 - 31 August, but we are welcome to camp all week. Is anyone up for staying over both Saturday and Sunday nights? Monday is Labor Day.

Marching through History

We had a tremendous success with MTH in 2006! We plan to set up our full encampment again, and interpret the life and times of His Majesty's 33rd Foot. The web site is not up yet. At Old Fort MacArthur Days we were assured that MTH is ON for this year!

The Battle of the Hook

The big British Brigade, Continental Line, BAR event for the fall. We are registered for this event. This one is drawing units from all over, including New England and Canada!
