Pull the pocket bag through the slash. Fold the pocket welt up into position. The pocket bag will fold down over itself. There will be a small off-angle triangle section at the ends of the rectangel. I fold that back and press it as I press open all the seams and folds. That small angled section adds support to the side of the pocket welt when I stitch it.
