  • We have been invited to partipate in a growing annual event. We have voted for this as one of our main Southern California events.

  • Colonial Heritage Festival in Orem Utah
  • From the web site: "The Colonial Heritage Foundation coordinates a multi-day, colonial living and reenactment event for the Fourth of July each year. Called the Colonial Heritage Festival, or "Colonial Fest" for short, it is the largest event of its kind west of the Mississippi River - incorporating more than one hundred artisans, craftsmen, teachers and reenactors."

  • Old Fort MacArthur Days - IS CANCELLED!!! Gone for the forseeable future! Do not blame the Fort Mac management - this decision was forced on them by the City of Los Angeles.

  • The Northwest Colonial Festival
  • As it says on their home page: "It's 1775 again...".
  • We have sanctioned this event for any of our members who wish to participate even though the 33rd wasn't actually in North America in 1775. Let's face it, we weren't in the Carribean in 1718 either, but we'll take our fun where we can get it!

  • Nevada City Revolutionary War Days
  • This event is growing and we are very welcome by the town of Nevada City. Let's try to get more of the 33rd there!

  • Saturday, Sunday - 28 - 29 September
  • Before the Siege: the British Army in Yorktown
  • Before the Siege: the British Army in Yorktown is our main Back East travel event for 2019. BTS is a commemoration of the time that the British and Crown forces were in Yorktown, preparing its defenses before the Continentals and French arrived. We have access to some historic and re-created buildings, and the chance to engage in interpretation and camp life over several blocks of Yorktown's historic Main Street. This is an unparallelled opportuntiy to walk in the footsteps of one of the 33rd Regiment's most significant actions.
  • Please let us know if you plan to go! We have booked rooms to stay in, but need to adjust the number depending on the total traveling.

  • The British Brigade at Mt. Harmon Plantation
  • This is the big British Brigade event of the year. We have sanctioned this event for any of our members who can participate.
  • The National Revolutionary War Reenactment Festival web page (scroll down a bit). If you plan to participate at Mt. Harmon with the 33rd, please let me know so I can register you. Registration must be sent in by the unit.

  • The Marching Thru History Exhposition. Norco, Califonia.
  • MTHE is a timeline military history event being presented on Veteran's Day weekend. The theme is "We Honor Our Veterans Thru American History". With the loss of OFMD this will be our timeline event of the year.
